fnatic through to WCG Sweden final

fnatic are the first finalists at WCG Sweden after disposing of Begrip Gaming 2-1.

Few would have expected it to be such a close tie but fnatic were truly made to sweat to emerge victorious against Begrip Gaming.

On de_train, the first map, fnatic pulled off an impressive T side, winning it 9-6, and at this point many surely expected them to cruise as CT, but Begrip Gaming proved a strong attacking intent, having even been up 15-12, only to allow fnatic to equalise. In overtime, despite a good first-half by Begrip, in which they won 2-1 as CT, fnatic made no mistake this time around to nail it 19-17.

Both teams then moved to de_dust2, where fnatic's strong offense gave them a 10-5 lead. But it was far from over as Begrip Gaming proved they still had something to say, and with 15-13 in their favour, this time they did let go of their lead and won the map 16-14.

The next map, de_nuke, began with fnatic displaying a strong CT side as they went into interval up by seven rounds. Although Begrip still posed a strong threat in the second half, fnatic controlled the game in the latter stages and secured a 16-12 result that puts them in the final.
